Eighteen students from School District No. 6 (Rocky Mountain) visited Yuexiu Education Bureau, their sister school district in Guangzhou, China, from May 12 - 22, 2017. The trip was jointly funded by the Guangdong Department of Education and Yuexiu EB in recognition of SD6 and Yuexiu EB signing of the first-ever MOU between school districts in Guangdong and British Columbia. This trip was a pilot program designed to establish a model for annual reciprocal exchanges between the two school districts set to begin in the spring of 2018. Congratulations to the 18 students from SD6 who were selected for this trip and who proved themselves to be exceptional ambassadors for their schools, their school district, their province, and their country. Well done!
