Fun in the sun! Forty-nine students from Guangzhou, Fuoshang,China are participating in #RMISP's second annual summer program for students from Guangzhou, Fuoshang,China including Yuexiu Education Bureau, @RMSD6's sister school district in China. The students are in Canada for three weeks from July 20 - August 8 and is being hosted at the College of the Rockies. The program features ESL instruction in the morning and activities in the afternoon with trips on the weekends. Some of the highlight activities include a visit to the University of Calgary, the Telus SPARK science centre, shopping at CrossIron Mills, the Calgary Zoo, Skyline Luge at Canada Olympic Park, sightseeing in Banff and Lake Louise, historic Fort Steele, learning to paint at the Kimberley Alpine Resort, river rafting, bowling, indoor rock climbing, camping at Blue Lake, indigenous arts and crafts, the Kootenay Trout Hatchery, the Creston Valley Wildlife Centre, beach activities at Wasa Lake, swimming at Fairmont Hot Springs, Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump, West Edmonton Mall, and Columbia Icefields.
